Default My 928 S4 is crashed : (

I was on the frontage on the expressway and I got cut off by a sentra and my rim. I don't know exploded and I spun out of control and and ended up on the side of the expressway. I had to drag it to my business and leave it there. No damage to the body ,but it won't drive or go into reverse. It might be over for my shark.....

South Texas Mcallen to be exact I think my rim broke when i hit the curb. I'm guessing now my tires popped and I lost control anyways I pulled it and it won't go into R or D. I'm guessing cause the rim is cracked in half it won't let the car work. Unless the transaxle is messed up. I will have more info when my friend checks it tomorrow. I guess all I can do now is hope for the best. Luckily nothing happened to me

Yes, if I am understanding correctly you are lucky. Glad you were not hurt.

Maybe the car is not that bad either. Post some details when you get a look tomorrow.

Good luck.

I beat the snot out of my car and it seems to like it. I dont think a little spin will do it in. Good luck, glad the damage is to the car and not you.

Best of luck w/ that...hope it works out. Could be a linkage problem w/ the tranny... Of course you can get good used tranny's from all sorts of places that cost what??? Under $2k...or maybe right at that. Install another $1k or less. I suspect that will be the biggest problem, though you will probably need an alignment and maybe a few suspension components if anything to bent, and a wheel, or 2 or 4...

It is WAY to nice a car to just give up on. I know how bad it hurts after and accident like that, just hang in calm down, be thankful for all that you have, and look at it tomorrow in a new light!

Best!

928's are a lot tougher than that. First step is to calm down and carfully inspect the car. So, you cracked a wheel and lost a tire, or maybe just rolled the tire off of the rim until it lost all it's air. Transmission is most likly just a cable adjustment or replacement, depending on what you drove over. Could be jambed up with mud and weeds. Worst case the transmission case is cracked which will require a replacement, but it's not the end of the car.

Again first inspect it! and . . . good luck.

Well if the car is yours, all things considered, looking at the big picture, at only 18 you are in great shape!
On the other hand, if that's your Dads car.....you're screwed!

I bought it two years ago I do computer work and build websites for local business. Setting up POS systems and wide area networks. But yes if it was my dad's car I would be screwed I think it would of given Risky Business a run for their money
