Glad you're ok Joey. One thing that comes to mind about your car eating tires is that there is some serious rubbing going on, wearing down the tire walls to a dangerous level. What stumps me is that you are running 16" wheels, which would be stock for the S4. Looking at your pics, the wheels look like GT wheels. The question is whether they are wider than the stock S4 wheels? Or, maybe somebody put the wrong size spacers in, and the inside of the wheels are rubbing and wearing out without you realizing it? I would do a little post-mortem on that - if the car is fixed and driven again, next time you may not be so lucky!

Wheels are 7x16 front and 8x16 rear, when I first replaced the tires I decided to check cause I was wondering about them being GT wheels being 9" instead of 8,but it seems its just the style but they are same size as stock S4 rims. When I bought the car it already came with them. Does anyone know where I might find some other design 90 wheels that are 8 X 16 rear or where they might of came from??

I looked at it today and it is off. I'm going to go check the place where it was in the grass again. Also my front bumper the vents that are held by screws
. Can this be fixed or do I need a new bumper cover??

Okay I looked it over with my mech today and there is some damage to back end. He says that the CV Joint is broken on both sizes of rear wheels. I am going to look over it again later on today. ANyone have any ideas as what else it could be my rear wheels don't turn.

Take it easy on the kid remember when you were young
Can you get your car on a lift and shoot some pictures of the bottom end?
Could it be that the rim and tire size are not compatible did you actual measure the rim size to confirm this? You seem to have a reoccurring problem with your tires there must be a reason this is happing.
You said the CV joins are broken you mean broken off or are the boots torn. Can you turn the wheels by hand while off of the ground?
Pictures, pictures pictures

Yeah, I can turn the wheels by hand. Problem is when I go into drive or reverse my tires don't spin just a clicking noise. I will have some pictures of under the car today I left it at my job I'm going to have to tow into the shop and take a good look at it. I'm looking at this is in a positive way hopefully I can repair it and start making some mods and upgrades.

When and who did the alignment on the 928?
Just asking cause a recent SITM incident had bad front end alignment (car possibly lifted before doing alignment) wore out both front tires. 1 front tire was down to cords on the INNER end and deflated.
Takes a bit of force to break both CV's, no?
Post pics of the underside, especially the CV. Where did the axle shear?
Check for bent suspension if you hit the curb hard. Especially the tie-rods if you hit the front wheels.

That is the spirit ....fix it and make it BETTER ! check the front rims they easily could be 6 inch 911 wheels might explain the lack of stick, wear issues.
