Definitely, my A/C broke 150 miles on the way to SITM, so we drove both ways with out A/C (out total trip was 1800 miles). Patty, my wife, basically took it in stride, definitely a keeper (guess that is why we celebrated 30 years of married bliss last week 
)

Another great SITM family reunion! Great to see old friends & meet new ones too! Our 4th year going & you wonder if you'll get as excited as the previous years, until you start seeing all those sharks in the parking lot & in the meadow on Sat.! Plus the great friendships that develop. Much less driving in a string of 928s on the Blue Ridge Parkway! Great job by DR, Jeannie & her crew. 1,150 miles round trip in Pamela's S4 was a dream drive, although I gotta find out why she's getting less than 17mpg!!

I really missed the "goings on" this year. I can just smell that fresh mountain air when i see all your pics...as well as "the smell of hot metal and oil" from the driving shots!

It was beyond any consideration the best trip ever made!
I have so many people to be thankful for.....

to the folks that risked getting hit in our little turtle parade. (that will teach peeps to shoot at my ***.... yuk yuk)
I need to put in an honorable mention to Brendan - who sold me a fuel pump mount for cheap - and threw the pump in! I don't know why I carried it with... but ended up using it for 1/2 the trip!
I guess a lot of people are going slow in order to conserve fuel - nobody passed me the whole trip back.... dang car was awesome - the only way people saw the ghost was in their rearview mirror......
and with few exceptions, they stayed clear!
Anyway - Thank you everyone for making this the best time - your all pretty darn cool in my book!
I'll post some pics when I get off shift.....
maybe by then I can figure out how.....
