Default X-Pipe Art?

Just got my x-pipe delivered.

It's polished stainless steel and it looks so nice!!

Industrial Art? Only a 928 owner would agree.

Flowmaster Super 44's are on their way here to join the fun.

The RMB will finally be part of a choir.

It's the Ott X-Crossover Pipe being sold by Motorsport Inc.

It was the last one they had. About 4 weeks waiting time on the next ones.

They had polished it for display in the store, but felt sorry for me and sold it to me!!

WOW! That is BEAUTIFUL! I agree, it is to pretty to put under the car! The nice thing is that if it does not do any good you CAN hang it on the wall!

Just an update fellas:

Got that X-pipe and FlowMaster Super 44's installed.......

BWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my God it sounds so damn good now!! I mean that SOB sounds like a V8 monster!!

Guys, if you ever thought about an X-pipe and a good set of mufflers like FlowMaster, don't wait anymore. It will make your 928 into a different car, a monster!!! The power increase is definitely apparent to say the least.

I had my wife drive by the house a few times and I could still hear her 2 miles away (I live in the sticks). And when she rode by and kicked it, that bastard sounded awesome.

SITM here I come!!

IMO, these cars should have come from the Fatherland sounding like this!!

I have a '67 Mustang 302ci 4-spd with headers and FlowMasters, but it really doesn't sound as good as my 928 does now!!

X-pipe: awesome, and nice grab!
No cat/flowmaster/rmb....yuck, too raspy and blurbly for me (not on idle, on tip-in & below 3K).
Besides, were' only talking +/- 300Hp for NA cars...why raise a ruckus as if twice that is on tap?
eash his own, enjoy!

Between the Autothority Chips and Exhaust upgrades, I should be around a conservatively estimated 350hp at the FW.

The Twin Screw Supercharger will give me a few more HP in a few months, so you need to the exhaust flow before you cram more air in.

But why have a quite V8 sportscar anyway, so you can hide in traffic?

Make it loud!!!

Let me guess, "saves lives" like with the Harleys?

In my book, aftermarket forced induction of any sort...or well done NOS system...adds a whopping exclamation point to your discretion to have your car sound any way you want! (I was going to refer that as a right, then I remembered the noise bylaws in Cali and elsewhere...)
