No, good brakes save lives, as well as ejection seats and parachutes.

I just like the sound of a well engineered V8!!

If you are talking about all bark and no bite, just look around at the rice tuners with the flashy mufflers sticking out under the bumper.

The 928's can usually back up the bark!!

I totally agree with Dave.

There are slower Mustangs than OB 928s out there that are 3 times as loud as our cars with Flowmasters on them..

I agree, but you don't know about all those rice tuners.... Last dyno session I went to, there was a guy there with a Toyota Supra putting about 600 hp to the rear wheels! Looked totally stock on the outside.

Oh yeah, but the Supra is more on level with the 928, just 2 cylinders short. They are awesome cars as well. It feels odd putting them in the 'rice tuner' catergory.

I was referring more to the Civics/Accords/Sentras/Prelude/ETC crowd.

Supra IMHO is the most durable V6, next to the C32 AMG motor. I have not heard of failures in those cars ever...and they are force induced also.

Uhhh. The Supra is an in-line six cylinder engine!!! Not a V6.

Thanks.

Anyone ever put a supra motor in a 928? I ask because I happen to have a 2jz-gte sitting in my garage and I'm getting cold feet about putting it in my 951...

Beautiful X-Pipe! Now you need to invest in a lift so you can view it anytime you want.

Off Topic.....
I've seen a Supra put down that kind of horsepower but I also remember the owner having problems making the car reliable. I also remember him having even more problems putting the power down so it didn't do him any good unless he applied it carefully.

My bad - too much sauce last night.

Are the factory turbochargers sequential on those like they are on the third generation RX-7s?
