Default Metal Heater Valve

I searched around and could not find the metal heater valve that you can completely shut off, rather than the one for the Audi 5000.

Anyone use one? Have a link to one?

Might have changed, it's been a few years. I recall that was the part number on my receipt. The Factory Air company is now called Four Seasons I think.

Rockauto has the valve, maybe Napa and Autozone do too.

NAPA is the semi metalic valve, even though the catalog shows the metal one. Mid America Motors shows a metal one for some of the Vettes, but I haven't confirmed that.

I think you are confusing the metal vacuum-operated valve with the manual shutoff valve.

CheckerShucks/Kragen/Parts America has the Factory Air part with that part number for $13. Same part number, same valve, from Four Seasons is $20.

I suggest trying whatever local store you have that is good at looking up parts. Rockauto I think is $9 but shipping would probably cost $7.

DO NOT get the all metal one thats the audi part.....mine failed in 6000 miles and would leak hot water into the core, but of course it held vacuum just fine.......

928RUS has the all metal version. I went through 2 of the plastic ones that failed before buying the all metal one. So far, no problems.
