Without reading through this entire post, I'd recommend getting a life.

Kraig, if you typed that with a straight face, you are a used car salesman.

I would just like to add, before the thread is locked, that this particular thread made me realize I needed to get off my *** and buy the struts I have been needing for awhile.

So, I sent my email to Roger, and bought my struts.

So, if Kraig thought he would damage Roger's income, he was wrong.

Maybe we should take bets on how many more days this thread will stay on the first page.

It sure doesn't seem to end...

Maybe this thread shouldn't be closed just yet..... we have certainly had other less relevant threads stay up much longer. This is an important topic to me. We all know how crucial it is to have the handful of 928 suppliers remain viable, AND shown appreciation by the rest of us. Roger is as first class a guy you'd ever want to meet & you don't have to meet him in person to know that. He should be defended by the rest of us. He went over and above board in the situation, as he has done for any of us who've dealt with him. And this is how the guy repays him, by trashing him to the rest of us. I think the guy should send back the free window or pay for it at this point.

The main problem I have with this situation is how he came here to RL and allowed us to assume that he was a 928 enthusiast. When in fact he is just a small time used car salesman attempting to flip a shark & enhance his profit margin at Roger's expense & reputation. Like the guy with the stolen 928 that kept the whole story to himself until he had to fess up. He just didn't know who he was dealing with & that he'd be found out so quickly. Some of you guys are almost scarey with your sluthing abilities Then he insults all P-car owners with his porcupine comment!

If that first switch had worked long enough for him to sell the car, would he have stood behind the part to his buyer if it failed soon after the purchase? We all know that answer. As soon as he sells that 928, we would never hear from him again on RL would we? And hopefully, he won't ever buy another one.

Good idea, Bernard. No offence to the other Big 3, but I will support a REVERSE-BOYCOTT and send my next order to Roger. Wouldn't that be cool if Roger got inundated with orders off of this thread? Now, My car always needs something, what will if be this time?

Dale duro, amigazos!
