Everyone shoud love their own cars, that's why we have them, right? They were built for different reasons, right? Autobahn crusing or a cheap way to get into a Porsche. Either way, its your decision. How many 944's were made compared to 928's? I seem to see a lot more 944's around.

928 GTS was the top o' the line, 951S was the top of he 944 line. What are the numbers between them?

After 50 its hard for any car to run down a 928. Drive one to see for yourself. Looks like the 951's took the 928 from the line , then at about 50 or so the 928 did what it was designed to do. Prolly none of these cars were modded, or they were modded equally.

LMAO - I've never shriveled thinking about a modded 928.

Would love to run one though.

Well, you have to find a 500hp 928 to be equal pwr/weight of a 951.....

I think my wife's SUV weighs a little less than my 928 did. lol

wish you were in dallas.

when I get my car back this summer im going to find a heavily modded 928 to run.

Hopefully one with a blower or a stroker. It'd be great to run a 928 with 500rwhp.

First of all, yes I found one

Second, what SUV are you talking about? A Ford Explorer is 4,500lbs. That's 1,000lbs heavier than the heaviest stock 928. A Honda CR-V is about the same weight, but is that really an SUV or just a hatchback with double the ride-height? Do you know that a 996 and 997 Carrera 4 is within 100lbs of the heaviest stock 928 produced? Did you know that the 997TT is 50lbs heavier?

What, I wouldn't mind going down to the dragstrip over here with a modded 951, in fact I was planning to go soon anyway.
