I would love to have my front and rear seats done like this. Just the seat inserts in Pascha style - but nothing else in the interior. Then add headliner and A-Pillars in matching Alcantara.

that sounds like an excellent plan. The engraved Pascha comes out really nice in Classic Gray.
I can send you a sample whenever you are ready. I also have the matching Alcantara.

I love the seats the Rob Budd did for me, but I would seriouly consider buying a spare set of seats just to have this done!
The reason the cloth seats never really agreed with me was that they were too loud. This is so subtle! I cannot believe how cool these are. Wow! Simply WOW!
Great work Paul!

Hey Ron,
that's a bit strange, since I didn't know your project was canceled. To the best of my knowledge, and from our last conversations, you understood that I needed to take a break and I was to get back to you with a date once I had a better grip of the new schedule.
90% of your project is exactly what I do plan to keep doing, so, as far as I am concerned, we are still on.

it is with a sad feeling that I write these lines today. Circumstances beyond my control are forcing me to cut back on work drastically and cancel all of the full interiors I have on the schedule."
Paul,
Since I had almost a full interior on order, I thought I was one of those that was cancelled. I think you can see where my confusion came from...glad to hear things are still on track. No rush...you getting better comes first.

Those look truly amazing, no wonder you have people queuing up for your services.
Enjoy and make the most of the break, I could easily part with money for a set of those seats, awesome.

Classic Grey, as it is now.
Oh, and the luggage cover would be alcantara as well.
Unfortunately, it'll be a while. I hope you'll still make those when I'm ready.

Champagne Leather Pascha Seats
Hello all,
here is the result of a project I have been working on for a long time.
There as been a lot of interest the Op-Art, or as we call it Pascha design, as used by Porsche in the 70'
My idea was simply to re-create the design in leather. More subtle and more luxurious than the cloth original, but still an homage to the bold statement Porsche made at the introduction of the 928.
The above is a converted sport seat set, in black Aniline leather, with engraved and dyed, black on black, Pascha inserts.
The design is actually created by burning away the top layer of the leather, leaving suede. Left original, the design is medium gray suede on black. But for a more subtle effect, this one as been dyed.
You can actually feed the contrast of the suede and leather to the touch.
You can see more detail pictures on my website in the seat section:
http://www.designpaulchampagne.com/seatBlackPascha.html
This particular set will live happily in the 1984 Euro Iris Blue of Marc White and those planning to be at SITM this year will be able to see the seats and the rest of this beautiful car in person.
I am working on a second, similar set, in burgundy, for Marc's other 928. Hopefully, if I have time to complete it, both will be at the show.

What sort of cost is one looking at to have a set made, and do you serve the overseas clubs?

I have a few pieces in your neck of the woods already
The Pascha option for both front seats, will be between $500.00 and $600.00 over the cost of the seat covers, depending if it's dyed or not.
The rest of my prices and seat options can be found on my website, by clicking the logo below.
Thanks
Paul

Paul, I gootta ask, how would you incorporate this pattern into the rear seats? Without an insert wouldn't the pattern be overwhelming?

the back seats have been designed to mimic the front quite closely.
In this particular case, I would do the 4 bottom rolls in Pascha, as well as the bottom part of the backrest (flipper), leaving the top part of the backrest in plain leather (with or without crest) to emulate the front headrest.
The finished look will be basically the same as the front.
The main problem is in the layout, so the pattern matches from roll to roll.
