Champagne Leather Pascha Seats
Hello all,
here is the result of a project I have been working on for a long time.
There as been a lot of interest the Op-Art, or as we call it Pascha design, as used by Porsche in the 70'
My idea was simply to re-create the design in leather. More subtle and more luxurious than the cloth original, but still an homage to the bold statement Porsche made at the introduction of the 928.
The above is a converted sport seat set, in black Aniline leather, with engraved and dyed, black on black, Pascha inserts.
The design is actually created by burning away the top layer of the leather, leaving suede. Left original, the design is medium gray suede on black. But for a more subtle effect, this one as been dyed.
You can actually feed the contrast of the suede and leather to the touch.
You can see more detail pictures on my website in the seat section:

This particular set will live happily in the 1984 Euro Iris Blue of Marc White and those planning to be at SITM this year will be able to see the seats and the rest of this beautiful car in person.
I am working on a second, similar set, in burgundy, for Marc's other 928. Hopefully, if I have time to complete it, both will be at the show.

Paul, you are FREAKING AMAZING DUDE!!! That is just spectacular! I am totally stunned! The early seats suck A$$ too, so now you can take an early car w/ Op-art throw out the old seats and in with a new set of LEATHER Op-Arts with all the bells and whistles!
I don't even know what else to say, I am speechless. You are THE BEST!! All other leather shops should take a lesson from you!

Congratulations on reviving/improving on the Pascha seats.
They look great.
So I'm guessing you can Pascha the door inserts too.

Oh Baby Baby, I already have the Pascha laser engraved door inserts and padded armrests a la Paul Champagne along with a verrrry nice center armrest, so when those wonderful seats go in we will be ready to head to SITM. Looking forward to seeing my old pals and meeting some new ones in early June.

WTF! You say you want to scale your operation back and then you tease us with that! You'll probably get dozens of requests just from this thread alone...
Nice work.
