You're absolutely right. He goes at position 0.5 on my list.

For design/support (in no particular order):
Porken
Carl at 928 Motorsports
Tim Murphy
Constantine
Rob Budd (thanks for the seats, carpet, hood liner...)
Paul Champagne
Roger Tyson
Jim Bailey and the crew at 928 spec
Dave and Jeannie et al (Thanks Al )
Wally P.
Earl Gillstrom
Nicole at HookedOnCars
Jim Morehouse
That twin turbo guy

For technical ability/experience/advice of those not yet mentioned (I know I'm going to forget a few and this will bother me, but here's my first attempt):
Bill Ball
Andrew Olsen
Adam G.
Kevin (The Guy)
All the Daves ()
Alan
That new guy Dwayne who really raises the bar for technical write-ups, patience, and showing an example of what a clean car/engine should look like.
John Cho
John Campbell
JP
At least a dozen people who helped me get through my clutch job. There's no WAY I could have done that without this list. You know who you are, even if I don't (Matt).
JHowell37

And for technical advice and/or just being cool guys to talk to online/in person:
Stan Shaw
Erik (Hacker)
John Veninger
Imre
Heinrich
Jerome Craig
All the Eds (can I do that?)
The rest of the Daves
John D.
Randy
The women of Rennlist
Matt (Leperboy)
The 944 guys

I could go on, but that's a good start. Thanks everyone, this is a cool place. And if I get fired from my job for hanging around online, can I come stay with you?

Default Thanks Dave

Dave Chamberlain, Who took a car nobody else would touch. Even though you can tell he doesn't like what I've done to it. He didn't criticize he only helped. Your a good man dave.

Hey Tony,
Don't confuse my usual seemingly-grumpy, terse, and apparently-stern demeanor with dislike of your intent with respect to the modifications on your car. There's a reason my staff nicknamed me Worf back in the day

I have to thank Brother Heinrich for encouragement to stick with it when I get disgusted and pissed with certain irreverent "contributions" to some threads. I don't have much patience with wise guys. I'm still here and I have learned to use the "ignore" button to keep cool.

I'd like to say " Muchas gracias" to my friend Abby. He's a straight up guy and he did me a favor yesterday. Thanks again Abby.

I owe a big thanks to this entire group for all the help with my bead-blasting disaster. (Problem solved and solution updated soon)

AND.....I'm driving my 89GT today and it runs like a brand new car, so I am going to jump on an already crowded band wagon and thank Dave Chamberlain. When I couldn't find time to finish the t-belt and intake refresh project, he took it on in it's disassembled state and gave me back a screaming GT.
Then, he came to the house and put in the dreaded clutch master and blue hose!!

Dave C..you rock man

I want to give a Ginormous (Gigantic + enormous) shout out to John C. (Soontobered) for helping me most of the day last Sunday to fix an oil leak. I have been fighting this oil leak for two years. I had replaced every seal in my engine including the rear main and oil pan gasket (with a real gasket) but still had a leak that would blow back onto the exhaust while driving and leave a spot on the floor. I used the stud kit and replaced the oil pan gasket again and now have NO OIL LEAKS!!! Finally. The first gasket was screwed up by me and was no fault of the gasket itself.

Default Thanks Landseer!

Just wanted to thank Chris (Landseer) for helping me get my S4 off the highway today.

Had a no-start condition. Check FP relay, pulled spark plug (didn't appear to be flooded), checked FP fuse (it was blown, replaced it).

So when Chris got there I thought my fuel pump was shot. Not making any noise and appeared dead. So Chris asked me to turn it over while he put an MM on the contacts. Got power and he felt the FP move.

He said, the pump is clogged. Suggested to reverse the contacts, remove the fuel tank feed line into the pump. Run the pump and run the crud out. Sho nuf, it worked! Car started and is now home. No tow truck.

Thanks for helping me out Mr Boyscout.

Dang. How did I miss this thread last year?

I gotta thank Dave and Garrity at SLC Motorsport for keeping my baby humming like a top - and always at a very reasonable cost!

Thanks Kebolacy for hosting a nice "tire kickin' 928 get-together today!
Had beer, water, and Doritos....and great conversation.
Thanks Fraggle, JP, & Kevbo for great comradship!
I always learn something new... on many levels.
NLA 928 (Kevin's new Minerva Blue OB) looks like a great driver in the making!
Nothing like hangin' out with some good 928 guys to get feelin' alright!

PS. I love the #6 look-a-like model (in red), and the OSRAM light bulb kit!
Thanks JP and Kevin (respectively)!!
