1st I'd like to thank Rennlist, for being here.

2nd in line are to all of those people that have taken the time to document the tech docs, the "how to do this", and the the people that have taken the time to further develop our passion. The list is huge, and they know who they are.

3rd are all of the sponsors that continue to support our cars and make life easier on those of us who would be lost with out them.

4th All of you people who participate here, and make this an absolutely great place to hang out.

5th The DFW crowd for bringing me in 2 years ago, it's a great family.

6th is Randy for not sending the "Sterling" thread to the abyss, when in all rights, it should have been.

OMG, I can't believe I didn't mention PorKen. BIG +1
Lets see, I have the PorKension'r, 16V'r, and EZF'r. Like I've said before, the Porkension'r has got to be the best inventions for the 928 since the 928 itself.
Sorry to forget ya Ken. What can I say, I started this while I was at work.

Thanks man.

Oh yea, I'm feelin' the luv...

PS I would like to thank Socalgirl for making an alternator thread go 11+ pages. And I would like to thank all you dudes for not scaring her away this time.

Its a really great place.

Thanks to Dwayne for setting a new standard in technical documentation for 84's, Roger and Jim with parts and advice and encouragement, Alan for answering some of my electrical pleas.

I wonder who has been in my frame of thought before, desparate at times, checking and rechecking to see if any of you woulld reply with some clue to help me solve some problem. Thanks to all. Hope to return the favors.

And the big Four plus all you others who keep my 928 rolling; delighting my kids and impressing the neighbors with the RMB!

Dave Lloyd for coordinating some New England and broader OC stuff.
And for being kind when an OB to 32V manifold proved more challenging than first anticipated.
And offering to think about circulating my professional credentials when the unemployment bug bit (hard).

John Holdsworth for getting me a Euro manual for my Euro car (from UK).

Jay Kempf for putting up with months of ridiculous e-chatter during my CIS multi-symptom multi-component fuel system crash. And his timing belt tool. And Dennis Wilson and John Pitman for guidance since then.

First three largely from email list rather than web forum, but just the same.

Tass for generously hosting some great gatherings at his great property...and maintaining zen like state of contentedness and acceptance in the face of occasional adversity.

Louis Ott for all the tinkering pioneering and sharing of lessons (followed by many others).

Jim and Mark et all for doing the necropsies that we might all benefit from (fee-based) donations of critical components.

...wait, jeez...don't tell the 944/951 guys about this lovefest or the 928 rep as a bunch of snippy anklebiters will be totally ruined!

I like to thank all those mentioned too for the great ideas/help exchanged here, with honorable mention to:
“Z”, Dr Bob, Bill Ball, Tampa928s and last but surly not least Alan for the great electrical advice and info.

I started thinking about my reply to this thread last night and the list of folks I should thank just kept getting longer and longer. I'd hate to leave anyone out that's helped me (or us) out.

I'd like to thank everyone that participates in this forum. It is the number of folks posting their experiences that generates such a wealth of useful information.

There are a few folks I will thank specifically and I'll give the reason:

-1) John D. - 'nough said.

0) CarChickZ06 - a more indulgent woman I have not met.

1) David Lloyd - for getting me over the hump of wrenching on my 928 myself.

2) Wally P. - for being patient with me on several occasions when he should have simply said: "Dude, you are an engineer. Look at the freekin' wiring diagrams and learn to fish."

3) Earl Gilstrom - as above, and I'm not sure there's anything on a 928 where he's not BTDT.

4) D.R and Jeannie and Mark Anderson for making it possible to buy parts not from a dealer at 120% of Porsche list price.

Gary Knox, ChuckZ, Bill Ball, Rogah, Alan, DrBob, Carl, Marc White, The Women of Rennlist,...

I could be here all night.

In summary: Thank you EVERYONE!
