Question What the heck is this???

I think someone already asked this a while ago. I wouldn't even know how to start searching for it. So, sorry for the repeat.

I found it under the drivers seat and the emergency break cover. It was attached to nothing.

So, for 200 points and the win, what is it?

Ditto what Andrew said. It should mount in the Emer Brake cover along side the hatch release **** (if equipped).

It's the goberments secret listening device for picking up your most inner thoughts. The PO must not have been able to fit in his 928 with his tin foil hat on, so just disconnected it.

A Rennlist first. All smartass responses except for a serious one from Andrew. I'll be on the rooftop waiting for the end now.

No kidding - who is logged on as Andrew?

This switch always confused me. The complexity of running every speaker through this ****, for what? Changing the balance without having to reach forward??? How silly.
Porsche was looking over the Mercedes wiring diagram a bit close with this one.

To my defense, I actually had a smartass response typed in and then decided to change it. Must be gettin' old... Sorry to disappoint.

Nice of the PO to not hack up the wires/ connector or just toss it! Wish mine still had the original radio...

WOW! Here I thought it was the remote tension adjuster for the piston return spring. I was way off.

It's the ejector seat control - now you blew it!
Guess I better get going on fixing that sunroof.
