I have decided to swap out my engine. I picked up another 4.5 and spent the day getting it ready for the transplant....

 

Damn Dave! You don't waste any time...It took you a whole 6 minutes of Rennlist time to make that decision. I admire that!

 

I want to drive this car REALLY bad !

 

Not to derail the thread, Dave, but how do you like the Mahindra? The old Deere I'm using now couldn't lift an engine anymore.

 

Well guys, this thread scared the crap out of me.
A while ago I had my buddy blast my intake and spider legs. I didn't do a great job at cleaning the oily residue out before or after the blasting so some of the sand dust remained. So I took the whole thing of the engine again and commenced to scrubbing. I broke out the pressure washer just in case.
