That movie's been in trying to get into post-production for - years -. Obviously lacking funding. At this point it's a WAG if it's ever going to even be released. In other words, don't hold your breath if you expect to see it.

You may not have heard of Steve Clausman, but you should have, and will - veeeery soon - in a little movie called 32 Hours 7 Minutes. Clausman was a legend in the secretive world of underground cross-country racing, taking 1st place in the 1981 and 2nd in the 1983 U.S. Express - the final and heretofore unknown successor to the real Cannonball Run.

Alas, I just received word that the charismatic Steve Clausman has passed away.

There’s a lot more to be said this fascinating man, and I’ll be following up in the coming days. In the meantime, here’s his MySpace page. A young Clausman is pictured top left, the Porsche 928 he and David Morse drove to victory in 1981 is above right.
My condolences to his friends and family.

Can I assume the movie release date is still not defined

Pity I would love to see it.

BTW, if anybody is planning such a rally in Europe avoid Switzerland.
A bunch of 9 guys running down a Swiss autobahn at 125mph (versus 75mph limit) on 6th May; police closed the autobahn & locked them up. 6 of them were Chinese & the Ambassador was complaining yesterday because they are still in jail. They claimed they thought they were in Germany?
Nice cars, Ferraris, Lambos, etc but no Porsches

Your data was thrown out since in order to qualify you have to exceed the speed limit...

They solved the average speed problem by jacking up the car and spinning the wheels at fuel stops.
