Funny these cop threads came up today.

Just got followed for approximately 2 miles through a few lights, turns and stop signs by a Federal Way security guard - err cop, i mean. I pulled into a Chevron with this cop on my *** for my usual gas and Copenhagen refill every Thursday morning(work 2nd shift). The stupid cop continues on as i turn in. Little did I know he parked in an adjacent lot behind some hedges - just out of site. I finish my business and turn out. Sure enough, there he is and soon gets on my ***. The stupid pig followed me all the way home which was roughly a mile from the gas station. And this is NOT the first time..

i see you're defending cops/government jobs? GTFO... Government IS infact the #1 single biggest employer and job creator. The country has gone socialist and the police state, omni-present.

I find some things offensive here, including bashing cops or any other group, but I prefer a forum where people can spout off now and then, to one where someone thinks they can "police" every comment for some degree of offensive content according to their own subjective opinion.

If I find something offensive beyond my taste I look elsewhere for threads that interest me. I prefer my forum mates do the same, as opposed to telling each other how to behave.

The fact that I find someones post overbearing, does not, in my opinion, give me the right to decide how they should behave. It gives me the right to tell them they're full of $hit, but not to expect that i can direct their behavior.

Your resume' in another thread indicates you have 18 years of practice using your authority; you have no authority here.

You and I find the same thing, cop bashing, offensive. I also find your way of addressing it offensive.

Peace
Well said, as usual.

SeanTT, maybe reflect and try to figure out why so many people feel this way about cops. Usually someone goes into law enforcement because they have a need to control people. They have a craving for that power. Lord knows it isn't the great pay that attracts them. Another thing that pisses people off is the way that cops hammer on us civilians but don't expect the same laws to apply to them and even when traveling use the "buddy sytsem". Its like a well run gang or something.

Of course there are some exeptions to the rule. Even here on the forums. My 928 friend C for instance. But it only takes a few experiences with the bad ones to make people stop trusting all of you.

Now wash the sand out of your Vajayjay and get back to talking about cars.

First mistake was letting RedUFO get under your skin. (It's a N00b mistake, somewhat understandable since he doesn't post much anymore.)

I totally disagree! Letting RedUFO get under your skin is what this forum crap is all about. Let it (him) get under the skinf and let it fester and then realize he is the anti-you in every way and revel in its glory! Let the sun shine!

Edit: Oh yeah... forgot to add this.

That's the nut right there - state cops in CT routinely cruise the highways at 85 mph (and ride your A$$ until you get out of their way) and actually get mad at me for driving 80! Why is that?

I keep telling my wife I'm going to make it my personal campaign to force the staties to slow down, but of course as the driver of two singularly noticeable vehicles, that would be inviting an extraordinary amount of monitoring on my driving habits, and, well, we can't have that.

I didn't join this forum to get pissed off. I joined to learn about my 928 and meet some really cool people.
Thanks.

If you are that easily offended that you are now pissed off because you bought into my bull**** comedy. Then you are the exact type of person who SHOULD NOT BE A COP. You should quit immediately if your are this trigger happy and snap at a comment that didn't not instantly appease you. This is definately a power control issue. Your are so used to have total control over people it makes you mad that there exists a world that you have no control. I'd hate be prisoner of yours in the real world if you are so **** demanding your online street credit here. We got lawyers on here too but they don't flip out like you did from some ribbing.

I guess its so bad now that we have to worry about being pulled over, fined hundreds of dollars for going 12 over the speed limit and we risk a tasering if we don't jump instantly when a cop barks orders at us like hes our drill sgt. Now they think they can just infiltrate web boards and be the cop of that place too and demand respect like a prison guard or something.

Sorry if you got pissed, I was just talking snarky dude, chill out before you shoot somebody.

If only you could smoke weed you'd be more laid back and wouldn't snap like a pitbull.

As a lawyer, I'm offended that you guys are arguing about this and I'm not profiting from it somehow.

That sums it up quite well.

Hey now there Mr. Counselor... we all know there are many ways to measure profit... oh crap who am I kidding... you are a lawyer and as such all you care about is making money off other people's misery.

A lawyer sent a note to a client: "Dear Jim, Thought I saw you on the street the other day, crossed over to say hello, but it wasn't you, so I went back. One-tenth of an hour: $25.00"

Sean, nice of you to change out of your uniform. I loved that thigh holster (needs long arms, no?).

After three decades as a lawyer (prosecutor, public defender, now business counselor) and nine years on a Police Civil Service Commission, my respect for LEO's has dropped dramatically. The one retired cop that I shoot with says his department has become a gang of "thugs in blue" (his words). There are exceptions, I'm sure (probably you), but the presumption is the opposite.

Wrong. It would be 1/4 hour, $125.
