Paul,
You and Linda need to take care of yourselves first of all. I for one appreciate all your hard work, dedication, and sacrifice for the 928 community!

Can’t wait to get the cargo cover, it is a real work of art!

Thank you!
Glenn

Be well, get happy, and we'll be here when you're ready!

Great business practice to be honest with patrons and to respect one's own's needs and how they may bear on the product.

Regards
ST

Paul I wish you the best. You are a valuable asset to the 928 community and your work is out of this world. You must enjoy life now because tomorrow is not guaranteed. Hopefully you'll make it in 09 for the TX OCIC. Jason

How about a sewing machine recommendation?

Funny you mention the Moon, "Beardy Branson" mentioned trying to find some misfits to use to go and colonize Mars. He wants to have Virgin Galactic go to Mars before the government does and set up shop there. He needs people that are willing to leave the planet. Maybe i assumed you had applied? LOL

Take all the time that you need, Linda and you, and get back whenever you are ready.
Your health is the most important thing right now. Good luck and please enjoy life first...
That's the most important thing!

Sounds like a very difficult but necessary decision Paul.

Here wishing you and Linda the best and I look forward to seeing what comes from the Champagne workshop in the years to come after a much deserved break.

Paul,

Rest up secure in the knowledge that you've made a lot of friends because of your involvement with the 928, and set the bar for aftermarket products for the 928 at an unprecedented level.

The cars can wait!

To be honest: I have been wondering for a while how you can do all this... I hope you get the much needed break, and find the right level of involvement in the community, with the great service you provide.

All the best to both of you!!!

Very sorry to hear about your predicament Paul, and fully understand your decision. Can only echo what others have said already; that health & family must come before all. Do hope my email inquiries about the luggage cover didn't come across as impatient; that was never my intention.

The very best wishes for you both,
Erling

+1...And I figured you weren't becoming a millionaire doing it either. You're doing the right thing to step away, get yourselves right, and then re-evaluate the situation. Best of luck.

Paul and Linda,
First - PLEASE take care of yourselves - both physically and mentally. Work needs to be a part of the enjoyment of life, not a drudgery. AND - 15 hours a day will always become a drudgery regardless of how much you originally enjoyed doing "that work". I, along with all the other 928 owners I know who have your small or large pieces of artistry in our cars truly appreciate what your skill and creativity have brought to our enjoyment of the cars. WE all say a big THANK YOU, and wish the best for both of you. Hope to see you both at SITM again this year, and at OCIC in '09.

Gary Knox (wonderful enlarged center glove box and soft retractable arm rests).

I actually think I saw this coming when you made an announcement last year that you were raising your prices (and in the process hinted that you were overextended on commitments and had to cut back).

A less honorable man might have continued to do the work at a slower pace and just not said a thing. It speaks volumes about your character that you a)felt such a commitment to quality and delivery schedules that it affected your health and b)that the idea of cutting back is clearly a difficult choice for you.

Get better, re-sort, reorganize, and do things on your own terms.

Best of luck!
