Well, all I can say is people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, as demonstrated by the following article in the Orange County Register:

I think it more likely that this reporter is about to ruin some cops' fun, hopefully.
Personally, I find hypocrisy repulsive and unacceptable.

I feel threatened when I drive in California, and feel I need a few sets of confidential plates for myself and my family members. I would never use them to avoid tolls, parking fees, or red-light camera fines, of course. I'd just feel safer if folks couldn't find out where my car is parked at night. Or where to serve summons on a frivolous complaint for something like safe "speeding". My reasoning is as good as anybody's.

A few years ago on a fun run, one of the group who happens to be a federal LEO, blasted through a section of road in front of a local LEO. Local guy was really pissed that he couldn't write a ticket. So 'professional courtesy' can be a good thing.

WTF is this world coming too?

Man, I am so glad I never moved to CA. There was a time many years ago when I considered it.

Ironically, I ended up in Seattle where half the asshats are from California anyway.

I hate to say it, but we're all on borrowed time with our sports cars, motorcycles, off road vehicles, whatever.

One of the reasons I bought the 928 was because I feared if I waited too long, they'd outlaw the freaking things.

I also bought a dirt bike 7 yrs ago so I could hit the trails before all the f*cking "I can't share the woods with anyone else" ******** shut down all of the remaining legal riding areas. I got my riding in, but its looking like its just a matter of time before the fun police have it completely their way.

Not if I have anything to say about it.
