Is this the Mattel you refer to, Nicole?

IMHO the Fujimi 1/24 kits are THEEE best..detail and quality. They dont have the earlier cars however, just the GT and S4..havent seen a GTS either. I bought 3 of them. Wally posted the link ages ago to a webiste/hobbystore in Japan..i ordered from their website and they were here a few weeks later. A dremmel ,some putty and you could probably turn them into any MY you wanted, if your skilled enough.

Yes, Jerry, that's it! I bought that one for my own collection, and immediately took those cheap looking decals off. the steering wheel looks like 50ies style (thin metal, two spokes), and under the hood is a mockup of four cylinder engine with a carburator...

Thumbs up

I took a few months, but I finally was able to find what I believe to be the finest example of a 928S model kit. I think that the detail on this Gunze Sangyo Porsche 928 S 1:24 kit, far exceeds the Revell or AMT kits.

Here are some pictures:

and

Does anyone else have one of these? I bought mine on eBay Germany.

I bought a 1/16 scale 928 on ebay last year. I think Revell made it in the early 80's. It's an ok model. I used alot of clay on it trying to make it look like a Jacquemond 928. I'm almost done. If you can find one of these models, grab it like you stole it. (I wouldn't recommend actually stealing it.)

Hi Noel:

Glad to hear you are having fun with the Revell kit, but without having to break the law...

I'm about to get a yellow 928 S4 in 1:87 scale. I'm curious to see how it really looks - I never had one of these. Should I put your name on it?
