[QUOTE=Rob Edwards;5255946]Find a US importer for an Ever Eternal EE-6501 and set up a group buy and I will happily participate, as I have a post-tension slab and cannot put in a 2 post lift:

Just because your floor slab is post tensioned doesn't automatically rule out installing a 2 post lift. If you know what the slab was designed for and know where the tendons are it could be possible.
There also are ways to reduce the local loads on the slab by adding larger baseplates underneath the lift's own baseplates. Did this succesfully for a commercial vehicle service shop that moved premises and didn't want to dig up the existing new concrete floor and re-pour it (They were installing 10No. 10 Tonne assymetric two post lifts.)

Functionality and Safety
The hydraulic system of the lift works with two independent cylinders. A special safety device in the hydraulic circuit substitutes the conventional security latches and protects the lift from bagging. The mechanic synchronization is done by torsion bars at the bottom of the lift. The high-performance oilsubmerged power unit with push buttons guarantees short lifting and lowering times.
Eeeeek! I like independent, visible safety locks.

I like them quite a bit. Not as convenient as a 2 or 4 post but when space is an issue it's about the best thing going.

No mechanical lock out..... No way.....and I would not let you get under it either.
This lift is built like a cheap toy sold at top dollar. Others have posted specs far superior at less cost.
Nuff said.... Thread over.
