Okay....
LOVE the no -rub strip car on top.
I will remove mine when I do some other body stuff.... This is a big issue with me.
This is my avatar. I bought my 89 in 2000 from Texas. The blue 81 auto is for my wife.
Everyone in California has a pic like this:
There should be the garage queen shot as well:
And for good measure, we have the "I live in San Diego shot"
I really want the look of the 81 with HUGE wheels. I know how bad that sounds, but an oldish bugger like the 81 without any body cladding SCREAMS for some smooth 18s or 19s.

Brendan...
If I was walking through an apartment parking garage and saw two sharks like yours parked there I'd probably fall over!
Andy-
The rub strip is extremely practical, but I am planning to plagiarize Big Dave and paint my '85 black [as it was originally...] and remove this.

Steve,
I would expect to see a buldge in your hood by now. Do you care to tell us how your recent
e-bay prize is working out? I would really like to see a close up picture of the setup. Also please check my idea about the "intake box" under the post "Intake R&R"

Awesome that you car does not have the side makers in the front fenders! But I'm still missing those red and blue lights on the roof of your shark...
Merry Christmas!

Eric: Just copy the internet address of your photo into the location specified when you click on the instant UBB code "image" like this:
And "poof!" there is your car.
Gordon
PS Hope this works now that I have shot my mouth off.

Wow these black cars look great. My first choice was black but I never seemed to be able to catch one. The ladies seem to like the Cassisrot Metalic though so I'll stick with it.

<img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> Nicole, I took the lights off when you told me my car reminded you of the police car in Germany you frequently road in.
Andy. Congratulations on your supercharger installation. That red candem super charger is just sitting in my shop. I have a 5.0 32 valve engine that it is going to go on. I’m going to redesign the intake manifold to accept injectors, so I can use the existing engine management system from my car. I am also going to add an electromagnetic clutch attached to the blower pulley, controlled by the TPS or a micro switch on the gas pedal, this way the supercharger is not continuously driven, increasing thermal efficiency. Root blowers are only 60% efficient because of the heat generated when compressing air. Therefore, I am also going to add a water to air intercooler.
The intake system you described is similar to the one I have. Ill try to post some pictures by the weekend. I’m working on too many projects at one time. So I will probably be holding off on this one until the summer.
I need to finish my current project, which is my first gear start valve body upgrade.
