Default Alternator and PSB brackets & bolts (#&@!)

What was Porsche thinking about these brackets. Seems like an afterthought. The bolts patterns are all messed up with a couple bolts going into the aluminum block. I couldn't tell if I have stripped holes are the something is on the wrong way. I don't get it.
I'll take a closer look at the WSM tomorrow. For today, I'm just fed up.

If anyone has pic of the front side in this area, may I see them? 16V only It appears Porsche figured something was messed up and fixed it for the 32V.

TIA

before you start to crank down on the PS /ALT brackets make sure the bolts are the correct length there are 2, 13mm headed bolts that are different lengths that screw into the block as well as one thats 17mm Then there are 3 13mm headed screws with a shoulder on them that fasten the PS pump to the bracket

The main bolt that holds the cassette is the 17MM headed one. It's behind the belt in the picture below. I highlighted it in red. Ignore the white arrows. The bolt needs to be lined up with the block and started first. Pull the cassette back and spot the hole for the bolt, then align the bolt to that. It requires some lifting of the cassette to align it. The rest of the bolts (highlighted in yellow) just align and secure it and are easy after the first one is started.
