Here is Part 2 of the weekend video. some of the in car is a little better due to the new digital camera. better on the 2nd race, when i was able to adjust the white balance.

I enjoyed the new LoserCam (facing backwards) and the new in-car camera. I like that we can see your hands with the wider angle.

You've got a leather console in your car? Holy moly, what a luxurious ride...

Seriously, that's extremely rare on an S4, and probably adds a few ounces of unnecessary weight to your car.

Charley it can also show the guy who is about to lap you although chances are he will get around !! It is neat to see the slip angle on the Vettes front wheels as it understeers on corner exit in some of the turns...

Thanks, I hadn't caught that. It looked like Mark was having a bigger problem with oversteer, from the incar camera.

I know! got any wave files you can shoot my way that would work for "part 1"?
I think the part up until the "Looser cam" is perfect for some tunes. Rylan was talkng about loser cam! I would love to have that stroker and let him see "Loser cam"

I think the Loser-cam sound is good, but a little rough. maybe with some music, it might be ok. part 2 is probably good for a mix of music and exhaust noise. too bad that white balance on my new camera was off. at the end, i almost found the right mix . almost too dark, but i had maxed it out.

actually, from what the Vet owner rob was telling me, his car was pretty neutral. I didnt reallly feel too much pain of oversteer. even at the end of race one, the fronts were giving out a little down the carocel and a little on turn4, but not that bad. I dont think i was pushing the car hard enough in some of the turns. in prior races, i think i was going faster up to turn 2 than this weekend. However, most all of the racers said that there was just no grip out there, and i kind of agree. not a tire thing, but a track thing. when i got a little off line with my shifter problem, i picked up enough rubber on the tires (marbles) to drift through some turns that before felt like it stuck like glue.

the film does tell a lot. I especially like the fender cam to see the front tire work! got to love that "motion ratio".

Well, Here are the predictions and the results (actual)

I wasnt too far off anyones time. the 2nd place in the main race was a nice surprise. I was hoping for a top 5 finish. (race 2 was near the same for the group, except for my broken shifter for near last place)

worldchallenge Viper 1:46 (actual 1:47)
S2000 SC 1:47 (yes)
M3 :1:47 (Yes)
NSX 1:47 (1:51)
panos 1:47 (1:49)
Sti 1:47 (no show)
928 MK 1:48 (1:49)
vet 1:48 (1:49)
Mustang challenge racer 1:49 (1:52)
pro driven BMW 1:49 (yes)
RX7 1:50 (yes)
S2000SC 1:50 (1:49)
