928 International forged checks warning !!!
Some scammers have been FORGING 928 international checks they are not real, not signed by anyone here and definately not GOOD. They are overnighting them by UPS (no mail fraud) and hitting people on Craigs list etc. They hope to get someone to deposit them into the person's account and send goods /wire money. So be careful . I posted this here because so many people here know our name ! We do appreciate the business but we are NOT giving away money

Parts nothing they wanted the WHOLE CAR ! so far they have not targeted 928 Owners or parts suppliers THAT WE KNOW !! I really just hoped a " heads up " might prevent somone some grief. We are not at risk at all.

Yeah, post a high res image of your checks so we can tell the diff. 
May want to get the same message out to your suppliers too. Hope it works out, but you'll prolly have to change banks to make it go away.

Yesterday UPS attempted to deliver a COD package. They wanted $50 from me. I never order anything COD. No name on the box, just a return address. The box didn't feel like it was worth $50, so I refused delivery. Why do people think this is going to work?

Look at your banks back office. This is where many frauds begin. Someone copies your check there and sells copy to certain groups that are known for this type of fraud. Contact your local Postal Inspectors and Secret Service, both of whom handle this type of fraud. Contact them now so this will get the ball rolling.
