Default Strange noise?

Ok so the other day I took a couple of videos to try and capture the sound of my Sharks exhaust. Truth is I’ve got someone who wants to make a ring tone out of it.

Anyway I cant hear this when I’m sitting in the car but I noticed a strange sound about 3/4s of the way into the first video that emanates from the rear of the car. Sounds like the gear box but I’m not sure if it’s always been like that or if it’s something new.

Heres the video:

Anyway I got to thinking that when I recorded that video I only let the engine warm up to normal operating temperature but didn’t actually take the car out and warm up the drive train too.

Funny thing is the sound check I did below the noise is gone. The only difference is that this time I took the car out for a spirited (~2 hour or so) drive through some of the back roads. So it looks like the noise has something to do with the transmission but again it goes away when the entire car is warmed up.

Thoughts?

My 1st thought was carrier bearings, but you don't have an auto. Don't know, unelss you have a torque tube bearing going crappy. But I would think it would be worse when warm.

I just posted to say the car sounds great.
