SAY WHAT! WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT???
Wilber...do I know you? This sounds like a lot of fun. Can I join in? I don't have to work till 2pm so the timing is right. What's to take place. I'm a coffee junkie.
First I heard of it.

Hey guys,
I ran a search on Wilbur and it appears he "may" be a 996 owner...not sure though. He's posted this information on several of the Rennlist forums. Looks like there have been several of these runs with different makes and models all showing up for the same run. Not a 928 exclusive type run...So... although fun I'm sure, I think I'll pass but do enjoy.

Gosh, Tim! Now who's stuck-up? We gripe because the 911 guys look down their noses at us, and yet we are too good to do a run with them?
Go for the fun, go for the people, go for the cars.
Just a thought...

Hey Bob,
Cars hell…go for the girls!!! Now there’s a weekend farmers market special!!!
Ya, after re-reading my own post I can see where you would get that idea but that's not how I intended it to read. I should of thrown one of Ed's YMMV to cover my a$$!
Actually, it probably would be fun just to look at the cars as I have nothing against "A 911 series model" or any of the other brands that probably will show, especially considering how I own a 14 year old car…certainly no reason to be arrogant but I'm not real impressed with their rants & rave's of out running CHP officers and endangering others…reminds me of the rice-rockets that pass you doing 70mph on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu…waiting to rack their brain on the pavement or worse…kill someone else showing off… now there’s some maturity.
But you are right…I just may visit the Starbucks parking lot for a quick coffee and a gander at some fine machinery.
Colorado…brrrrrrrrrrrrrr…….please tell me you ski!

This is kind of an emergency for the power plant builders, and unfortunately they don't budget time off for skiing. Plus it is, in the words of that great bird chef Audobon (not the German freeway): 'pretty falcon cold' here. Not like the east coast guys last week, but it's 2 above right now (8am local), looking for a high of 10 today, and I did sweep a few inches f real crispy powder off the Hyundai (pronounced 'high-and-dry') rental car this morning to get in here. If you want to see the effects of altitude on a car, drive a high-and-dry at 6000 feet, short uphill ramp from the plant to 75+ traffic on I-25. Now that's exciting!
Big issue for the operatoins guys here is keeping instrumentation from freezing. The heat trace contract went to trhe lowest bidder apparently, so a lot of stuff is being thawed out with weed burners.
Your tag line reads "how did I end up here?" You made a wise choice...
