So Far I've seen some beautiful cars! The biggest problem is location, location, location! It seems that most of the cars are on the two coast (WA,OR,NJ,NY and VA). Are there any cars in the IL, TN, KY, OH, MI or PA area?

I know exactly what you mean I had to go to VA from Ok to get mine.

I can understand the West Coast but I'm suprised there are so many on the East Coast.

.. somebody eated my trail of fries so I can't get back to the playground..

951/S4 combo, that's the route Dad and I took.

Kinda funny, neither of us wants to drive the others car, hehe.

What is the difference (other than the nose and tail) between a late 86 and the series 4 87? They are both 4 valves and same cubic inches right?

S4 has:
- Same displacement and same 32 valves
- Same exhaust
- Same brakes/suspension
- 5-speed has single disc clutch instead of double-disc (this is viewed as a downgrade)
- G28.12 5-speed gearbox is slightly stronger
- 16x8 rear wheels instead of 16x7
- Heads fastened to block with bolts instead of studs/nuts
- New body style - drops CD from 0.38 to 0.34
- Dual electric cooling fans instead of a belt-driven cooling fan and a pusher electric condenser fan
- Dual-resonance intake (28 more peak hp and 15 more peak lb.ft torque)
- Different pistons and head volume, but they cancel each other out and have the same compression ratio
- Lower volume injectors
- LH 2.3 instead of LH 2.2 and EZK ignition control instead of EZF
- More prone to LH brain-death, particularly the '87 model year
- Dual knock sensors and the ability to automatically retard timing if knock is detected
- 150lbs heavier (not 100% sure on this one; the weight increase may be due to the brakes/suspension upgrade)

I know what you all mean. I had a fellow offer to trade me a Jaguar XJS since I was looking for something larger to carry the little one around in but he never came through. I always wanted to feel the V-12, I still need something larger but the 928 is such an awesome travel car.

Its good to see another Ohio Porsche fan. I am in Southern Ohio down on the River and I see a couple of 944's but I believe I am the only 928.

Don't get me wrong........I wanted to clear up the post above. the 928 is an awesome car but I was looking for something larger and a diffrent toy. The Jag fell through and I am not heartbroken, I still use my 928 for my daily driver.
