for a person (me) that is honestly researching at the "extra power" options available for the 928 i am/was enjoying these turbo threads. having them deleted when someone decides for whatever reason it is in the "communities best interest" and to protect the community from a "group buy" rip-off is understandable but i for one do not need ANYONE telling me how, where and on what to spend my money and research time.
i'm a paying member (as most are) and and i believe that unless there is overwhelming votes to delete a post that is intented to inform and "school" members, post should not be deleted just because they don't fall into the PC way of your power goals.
had i known that this forum was so damn biased about turbo's i would just stayed a "user" and saved my 39 bucks and passed on the cheesy assed membership card...
i agree that paying sponsors should always have the support but to prevent people from learning and thinking about new stuff is wrong.
and i do not believe that it is a group buy protection because i just commited 130 bucks of my own for a new bling tool, no one deleting that shiat are they and protecting me from sending my money to someone (and yes i know turbos will cost more that the blibg tool)???
in summary, deleting these turbo post is fu'ked up and irritates the crap out of me...
getting down off my horse..

I can't find it either. I did not see a reason for its removal except for personal vedetta. If Randy sent this one into the great unknown, I for one call him on it. If you did that Randy , your an *** and you will be the reason I do not re-up membership this year. I don't know John, but I respect his work and the opportunity he provides as well as consider him an asset to the 928 community. Not to mention, THAT WAS ONE DAMN INTERESTING THREAD RANDY.

I would bet both of my 928's on that fact.
Those of you who think there is some type of anti-turbo conspiracy really need to open your eyes and take off the tin foil hat.
For the record, the RMT thread is alive and well.

I have contacted John about this
AGAIN, if there is a post that out of line, delete the post and contact that member. But there is NO reason to delete entire threads.
If this was done because a sponsor complained then please speak up, i suspect not though. The basis of this twin turbo thread was more of a joke then anything and i for one was somewhat harsh when the price was listed because i suspected it was too high. But i am tired of having information disappear and I want someone to tell me why these threads are disappearing.

And people still ask us why we don't care to sponsor R-list anymore...
I actually enjoyed arguing with "him" over his turbo/supercharger views but he is not on here trying to sell his wares. I didn't see a valid reason to delete the thread. Any improvements available for 928's should be allowed to be discussed on a 928 forum short of non-sponsors attempting sales.

You are looking way deeper into this then really necessary. I have my theories, but since I have no proof I am not going to share them.

well hell Hack speak up.
what is it that us "closed eyed tin foil hat wearing" bone heads are missing?
is it when someone mentions turbo's?
is it when someone mentions having them for sale?
or is it when one particluar member post on that active turbo post????
not trying to be a brown hole, i just get into some of these threads, and then WHAM, gone..

I just think it's very unfair (in this situation) to have any hard feelings towards John D or Randy. I'm not saying I like the situation at hand, but to line up the lynch mob towards our moderators is not a fair way to look at this.

"i can see clearly now the foil is gone"..
