Cheap '79 928 (manual trans) on Metro Detroit Craigslist
Found this while surfing, might be of interest to someone. Being a manual, might make someone a good track car with some work. Just passing along an interesting 928 for sale.

I wonder if they put the harmonic balancer on backwards when they did the timing belt 
That puts the cam timing WAY OFF ...it just will not run !!

If someone really wants an old 5 speed car, my 80 is for sale as well. I'd be more than happy to take 2k for it. I'm already into it for 3k and it needs to go now that I have the 84.

The short story is I bought the car a couple of years ago off EBay. It does not run, and it needs painted. I hadn't planned on selling it until I got it running/driving later this summer. It's white, with a sunroof, no rub strips, leather dash and center console. I figure with it running, it might be worth 2k. Probably not as it sits, but I thought I would offer it up to see if anyone was interested.
