I don't think that any of the parts vendors that sponsor Rennlist carry this item, so spamming is probably not an issue - I'll let you know if this changes.
Sounds reasonable to me for an easy custom touch - maybe the pricing could be a bit lower depending on the number of responses you get. Someone else here should be able to give you some guidance on international shipping options.

Thanx Jim, You're also not the only guy asking about lenses for the tail lights. Let me just get the front ones rolling and then I'll look at the rear.

928 owners are interested in the rear covers because they would smooth the lines on the rear of the pre S4 928s. Pre s4(1978-1986) lights are recessed in the bumpers but the s4 lights are all smooth and flow with the lines of the car. The front fog-lights on pre s4s are also recessed. The lens covers, 928Maniac has on his car, do a good job of helping the front lines flow and probably help the aerodynamics of the car. Bottom line, they look good!

Okay here’s the deal. The first 3 Colors from left to right are; Clear, Light Blue, Light Smoke. (all light)
The next 4 are: Dark Bronze, Dark Blue, Dark Purple, Dark Red. (all dark)
The last 3 are: Light Yellow, Light Orange, Neon. (all rice)
A few things to keep in mind: The lighter colors will probably be quicker to show dirt behind the lense covers, so more often cleaning is likely. Downside on the dark ones are they dim the driving lights a bit, not that anyone has ever given me the finger at an intersection because of the dark bronze ones on FAT BULLY.
The funny bit you should also not forget is that your driving lights will shine the color of the lenses, so if you pick red you’re gonna look like a pair of tail lights coming towards other traffic. He-he-he…
The rice colors I would rather not talk about if you don’t mind.
The lenses are hand made and the quality is excellent, but production is limited to 15 to 20 sets per week (at this stage). Material used is 3 mm thick and locally produced to withstand African sun and if you know what that’s like, you’ll also know it’s probably good for anywhere else in the world.
As for price, the best I could come up with for now is: $ 50 per pair for Clear & Light Smoke and $ 55 per pair for all else. If you take more than one pair at a time the price is $ 48 per pair regardless of color. Regular post seems to be the cheapest way to send it, bubble wrapped and boxed for about $ 16. Delivery time is 10 to 14 days if you can believe that.
As for fitting, we can pre-drill the holes here, which means you simply wipe your lenses clean and screw them on with two slightly longer self tappers. Duh. Or we can leave the drilling up to you.
I still have no clue how to effect payment. Can anyone help?

I thought the lens covers were flush with the body like that of the s4 rather than recessed and attached to the front of the OE lens covers. The dark color on your car appeared to be flush with the body. Can you make the lens covers flush with the front of the bumper cover? Have you made any progress with covers for the rear that follow the lines of the rear bumper cover?

Jim, the covers can be made to be flush, but you'd have to specify when ordering. We'd probably have to include a thin metal shaft to support the screws and the `wrap-around' along the the sides would have to be extended a bit. I don't think it'll be a problem.
