Default The Cleat Suction Cup

I bought the kit last week and I finally got a chance to video it. I kept it below the speed limit so I won't get flamed .

The suction cup works awesome. Before I was trying to make something work with a tripod but I wanted to keep it clean and looking nice.

Enjoy...

Pardone my stupidity, but what the hell is a
Cleat Suction Cup
and what does it have to do with the video? If your trying to share something you failed miserably, at least with me.

Sorry, "the cleat" was discussed in the past so I thought everyone would know what I was talking about.

The Cleat is basically a vacuum suction pump to attaches to your video equipment on a flat non-porous surface. It can safely hold up to 10 lbs. My camera is a JVC Everio GZ-MG130 with a macro lens. With the optional extended battery it probably weights less than 4 lbs. I mounted mine on the driver's side since I read somewhere that it is not advisable to attach anything on the inside of the windshield (besides a radar detector).

No if you use one of those then you don't need a contraceptive.

Okay, thanks! I guess I missed the thread your refering to. Makes perfect sense now.
