..and typically that is in the midrange, not necessarily peak HP. In other words, Power under the curve.
Here is a stock 88(one of Earl G.'s very well tweaked stock 928s) before/after dyno done at the 2002 Frenzy VI event in front of dozens of onlookers.

..and an 85 S Auto before/after at the same event.
This 928 was later found to have some other issues (forgot what it was) but the gains overcame it even in it's decaded state. If I recall once it was fixed it was even better!

This thread brings back memories.. I just found a pic of Earl's 88 on the dyno at Frenzy VI. Actually if I recall Jim Moorehouse had just bought it so technically it was his. There are a few more pics from that day and one from the Saturday Tech session. Bummer, I noticed Scott talking with me in the photo.

I NEEED the mountain hit badly my friend, THANX to you and Jeannie, I know it's a lotta work for you both however this is my Best Annual Treat, hated missing last year's..........must take time to prep the bird properly........reservation & registration are done..... Big cats and moth ***** took care of the rat fest at the garages, no more pains in that area.
