Post Tach sender.

Where does the wire for the tach start?

I have a poor connection somewhere in the wireing, and it doesn't seem to be somewhere in the dash pod, so I'm looking for the other end.

I've already cleaned the pod grounds, and the pod contacts. Anything more and I'll have to remove the pod.

Thanks for the information.

As an aside, don't wait 3000 miles before retensioning your t-belt. I did, it was WAY lose. Took like 3 or 4 turns to get it back into spec. I was amazed the engine still ran. It never even hick uped though.

Well, I took another 30 minutes and tryed to trace out the sender for the tach on the wireing diagrams, and again I can'tfigure them out.

I don't know how the diagram is suppost to work. I find where it says tach, and where the sender SHOULD be on the diagram, but I can't figure out where it's suppost to be on my car.

Thank you for any help

Who said wait 3000 miles to retension?!!! Everything I have seen says 1,500 or less. You have some strange manuals: A/C before ball joints, and now this. Yea, I'm pulling your chain, but where you get your info? It didn't come from here.

The 3,000 mile figure was NOT in the manuals.

They all said about 1,000.

However, 3,000 was the quickest I could get to it. If I had to do it again, something else would have been canncled or delayed, to allow me to do my tensioner. It was trying to ruin the t-belt, and the covers! Don't do that!!!!!

btw, the ball joints are replaced, and the a/c STILL don't work...
