First let me say thanks to the DFW 928 group that I met up with yesterday up in Bartonville. You guys are a wealth of information, and have some very nice cars! Based on what I had read on the forum was pretty comfortable with my purchase, and working on it. Now, I have no reservations what so ever!
Now its just a matter of getting her tuned up, cleaned up and in shape! Parts, money, time.......
Here are a half dozen pics. Snapped about 25 as my before pics. One day will have some good afters! Again, parts, money, time........
Thanks again to all that replied, and for the DFW group yesterday. Keep me posted on your next work day.

Brad has been officially inducted into the DFW 928 posse. Great car. You did real good on your first one. It only gets worse from here (the addiction that is). Notice I said first one.

Brads car is in great shape and I can imagine that it will only get better. The car looks like it was well taken care of with its previous owner.
Now we have to figure out how to initiate the pledge and have some fun with his car.

2. Use the coldest Bosch coppers you can. The 'S' means silver, which are still available, last forever, but expensive. L-Jet runs pretty lean, so you can use WR6DC, or maybe even 5. Plugs are cheap and easy to swap.
3. Mann, Mahle, Purolator
6. Group options are tough to figure. I think many are dealer specific. If you have the original warranty booklet, there should be a sequence of option numbers on the first page, after the VIN.

Mine lives on fuel injector cleaner. Runs best on it. My L-Jet runs very rich it's something I'm going to deal with when it's out of the shop. I may be changing the coil on it. My 81 Trans Am ran extremely rich too ended up being a weak coil. We'll see what happens. Oh yea can't wait to see your car it looks great. Not sure if you said but what did you give for it? Jason

Thanks for sharing your pics. Looks like you caught a great shark!
Sorry I couldn't make the GTG and meet you / see it in person -- I gotta work, SOMETIME!
But thanks, Jim for taking on the fotog role!

Jim thanks for the pics!
Got to get Roger to get me some parts to get tbelt, water pump, ect. done so I can start driving it on a regular basis. Drove it today to the store and back but hate to drive it much till it has new fluids and all.
And have really been babying it when I do.... that like giving a kid candy and telling them not to eat it. Self inflicted torture!
