We have had several impromptu (shark) gatherings at that Mexican food restaurant. Love that place. No need for anything. Hope to see you there.

Welcome aboard, Brad! Texas owners are slowly taking over the country.
I'm down the road in Austin but also have an '84 S.
Small suggestions - (1) Your Rennlist membership it'll be the best investment you'll ever make on this car. (2) The Workshop Manuals (WSM) on CD from Jim Morehouse. (3) Replace all the fuel lines. They're probably originals. Even if they look okay they're no longer flexible. Rog has a good kit. Easy afternoon job for you and your son.
(4) Stick with all the basics, no fancy plugs or wires. (5) For the alignment the shop needs a Hunter DSP400 or higher rack (doesn't require lifting). (6) Main fuse panel is under the wood panel in passenger foot well. Start cleaning connections.
(7) Don't sweat that miss at idle. Not uncommon for Ljet. (8) Have the AFR checked after tuneup to be safe. (8) Fill the tank if you haven't yet and check/smell for leaks. Lots of owners have spillout around the top where the rubber degrades. Like the fuel lines, this is a potential problem you want to find out about now not somewhere on the road. (10) For oil the preference is for a heavier weight like 15W-40. (11) Get your filters and such from one of the Big Three (I guess that includes Rog now with Devek out).
With Spring coming expect a contingent up from Austin sometime. The alignment session sounds like a good time.

Welcome to the group.
A little OT but I had a guy talk to me as I left Rogers tonight. He's got an '88 911 and has really wanted a 928, but the bad rumors has kept him from getting one (cracked block etc.) Gave him my car w/ Rogers number on it also. We may have another one in the area

Well, got home about 5, wanted to throw a quick wash on it, first since I bought it. Battery is almost completely dead. Threw the cables on it and got it started and drove it a bit. Assume we left something on?
Then washing it, I broke the plastic grill under the front plate in the bumper! Was just trying to scrub it off. Assuming it was already in bad shape!
See you guys tomorrow.
