Surfing youtube when I found this video from 2001.....it has to be the Devek White car in an older configuration......my guess is around 450whp back then....it sure does sound mean when its hits the BWAAAHHH

damn, what kind of exhaust is that? are there any mufflers on that thing? it sounds pissed!

I think the white car ran the level II headers into a Y pipe and the 3.5" single exhaust......or maybe it was a dual 3" setup....but ya that motor screams......but the Beast is LOUDER!!!

And now the car sits with no engine at all , the only sound .....silence. Even I find that rather sad.

So where is the White Car today? Someone should bring it back to glory. For that matter, where's DeVore's original open road racer? Lots of 928s with great histories out there, need to get them going again!

It always impressed me how fast the dyno runs were over with this car. You could almost have a three course meal in the time it takes mine to redline in comparison.

Last I knew, that car was for sale. I think the engine got sold out of it.

Probably in storage at the Hayward location where they relocated then closed the service business...
