Default Starter lead connections... Duh... I forgot.

I thought I'd remember, but I don't. I'm trying to re-attach the starter, I've got one big black lead, and the I got another big lead sheathed in the red with a little one coming out.

I'm pretty sure how the the red one hooks up (big lead to big post, little lead to little post). Where do I hook up the big black lead? Or was this supposed to go on the alternator?

You have it right - the black wire should go to the starter installation bolt - Red=hot or +, Black = ground or -.

Thanks again! I've got it connected now. I suppose if I had taken a few more minutes I would have figured it out. The big black lead comes from the +ive terminal of the battery. The red lead carries it forward to the alternator and the ABS (I think). ANyway, thanks again.

Andrew - Yes. The black is from the Battery, the smaller red goes to the ABS hydraulic unit the bigger red goes to the Alternator and then on to the jump post & on to the CE panel.
