You ever hear the sound
of an aluminum softball bat
pinging off a knee?
The guy with the limp,
and the new teeth
can't forget it either.
$8300.00 and no finished product,
No Mercy!
I'm a non-practicing Catholic,
but from recollection
there is no Commandment
restricting one from correcting
a wrong of this magnitude.
Not recommending anything here, but
you need to get resolution before
someone else with anger management
issues gets to his sorry butt.
Talk to your local D.A. - inter-state theft. FCC, Grand larceny, something................ .
If the D.A starts mouthing "buyer beware" crap,
well then it's your call.
These ****** are everywhere, sorry, man.
Good luck

With all that winter weather up in New York, I bet you could use a vacation to sunny southern California.

As you probably know this Munck already has several law suits pending due to screwing people.

Pack up the parts and proof of payment, show up on his doorstep with the Sherrif, they know the place.

If you need a little LA law type help, I have a personal friend out there who is an attorney. I don't normally advocate the use of lawyers but, you are mixed up with a real piece of work in Munck.

Good Luck, and mail me if you want a contact in that area.

What parts have you received so far? If you have the pulleys, bracket, supercharger and intercooler then you have the major components and the rest you can buy off the shelf. It might be easier to move ahead with this lesson in hand.

I will caution some of you that you are treading on the slippery slope of making 'terrorist threats' (the legal term) against an individual, as well as engaging in possible slander.

If you have no first-hand knowledge of this subject, please keep your cavalier suggestions and unsubstantiated conjecture to yourself.

While this 'onebad928' fellow may have a real complaint, he may also be someone with a personal agenda who has fabricated this tale to create the mob mentality that some may be prone to.

Keep your powder dry, and tend to your knitting gentlemen.

Yup. No matter how many first hand reports and hard evidence (definitely not subjective bashing) is brought forth, it seems like the moderator's tolerance level drops significantly when Mr. Munck's name comes up. Unfortunate.

Checking in from the grassy knoll...

He's like become the Kathie Lee Gifford of the 928 community or somethin', and I'm just like 'Dude, give it a rest!'.

Maybe it's just me...

What makes him, and threads about him, different than PartWerks, or that E-Bay fraud guy then, I mean besides that he's a friend of yours?

Kathie Lee Gifford's been ripping people off too?

Randy, I think the concern here is that we may be seeing ANOTHER in an appearantly LOOOOOONG string of customers get burned by a certain supplier.

If it was YOU who were looking into buying something from this guy, with no prior knowledge, wouldn't you be thankfull to see a thread like this? I say LET IT RIDE

Onebad & friends,

I too have given Eric $7200 for a Charger kit, aftercooler, bypass valve, etc.
He has had my money for almost a year now with plenty of excuses and no product.

I am considering litigation as well, however he did deliver a new aluminum radiator to me for a great price, so I am confused about his unspecific issues with delivering the product.

Chris

PS
after reading the rest of the threads...
I just want my kit, aftercooler and extras I have no agenda against Eric.

I have seen other posts about him and have been quiet and hopefull. I talked to him two weeks ago, I know he has moved into Hummers, and that Delta-P is related to all this.

Pissed but hopefull...

Chris, You bring to light a very interesting point. There is definately a group of people out there that have seen all of the negatives regarding Eric, yet they continue to support him and his efforts. I find this to be a little strange.

I have read at least six first hand accounts of people getting burned. They have all been taken for thousands of dollars.

There is more than one verifiable lawsuit pending against this person for questionable business practices.

There is more than one account by long time, well respected, memebers of the 928 community, of this persons questionable dealings.

What I am getting at is that there is a tremendous amount of negative evidence against this person. Why do people continue to support him, verbally, finacially, whatever?

I will say that if somebody had been holding onto my $7000+ for a year without a refund or, producing the product, I would not be as cavalier about it as you.
