Pat:

I've got the FVD chip on my '85, and it makes a very noticeable difference.

Way to go Curtis. Man, its hard to keep track of this guy.

I checked this guys user ID history and the name that he just changed this one from was----rchack_motodyne---

Its obvious this guy just can't be stopped, but at least there are some here that can get a heads up.

Argh-- I almost bid on the cargo net he has up until I saw the zero feedback and N.J. location.

So does anyone have an excellent source for cargo nets or cargo covers other than this guy?

No, I imagine he just get something close for a mini-van or something and pawns it off as Porsche.

I bought a cargo cover http://store.davidhonl.com/lugcovpor928.html and cargo net http://store.davidhonl.com/carnetpor928.html from David Honl and have been very satisfied, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Sending him mail telling him he's being thrashed on Rennlist is EXACTLY the opposite of what we want to achieve. THis way he will contact Rennlist and threaten lawsuit and the thread will end. Ask me I've been there.

What we want to do is spread the word here and not let a bad seller know. That way we are all wiser and he can't touch us again.

In this case, you must realise that if you ask a seller to end an auction early ebay will not help you. In fact that is against their policy. Chips are easily burnt. It is very possible that dude has burnt you a chip and shipped it, but keeps the auction going .... of course that isn't what he said he would do, but it is possible. As Jim said burning chips is no biggie.
