$18K is no low-ball amount.

I'm sure the apparent sale on E*Bay is incorrect since Ryan has already purchased this car at a much lower price. He will be bringing 928 #2 home from Illinois real soon also.

I'm telling you, the Candleman is on a roll.

The auction winner is from Cape Coral and so is Candleman, so..looks like he's got himself a new 928. Maybe.....

This is odd. It says "Best Offer 18k". That's not what I offered him. Did someone offer him more? This warants a phone call... Oh and what does "scooped" mean?

If you are vibor-blue you won the auction with an $18,000 offer, I sold a car just the same way on ebay. Just like highest bid is shown, highest offer made is shown if excepted by the seller. Keeps it all nice and legal.

Scooped means to get the better of, meaning someone might have bought it out from underneath you.

Ryan, no offense meant, but I'm back to doubting everything you say again. I hope you make me wrong.

Hmmm, this has become a bit complicated. I offered him 17K minus the sub and the amplifiers.

One the phone he mentioned another buyer who was interested in a partial trade + cash offer. I guess I'll wait and see.

Mr Charley, you should know that this whole process it is very stressful for me and I'm just trying to find the right car at the right price. I have a habit of saying whatever is on my mind which can be construed as me talking a lot of shxte. Honestly I don't know how this will turn out. I am still going to make every effort to buy my wercked S4 when I goes to auction. If I am able to do that than I will only be getting one of the 928 5-speeds that I have talked here about. I am a bit manic/obsessive lately and yeah I've probably done myself a disfavor by so freely posting my thoughts and plans in a manner that when read from begining to end seem full of self contradictions. I'm sorry but I find writing to be the best way for me to arrive at the most reasonable course of action. Not to say that things I've said along the way were not spoken in truth. They just aren't necessarily the way I will end up going.

Well, you say tomato and I say tomato, but it sounds like we agree on what you're doing, and it's probably not advisable on this site.
