I feel like I'm drinking out of a firehose! Steep learning curve here. I may need to slow down a bit, but I will persist.

I was thinking about their higher end all in one Moates emulator/burner/datalogger, Autoprom. It is 100% TunerProRT compatible.

IIRC, you can stack multiple chips in parallel and just switch 1 or 2 pins.

When i looked at the code on mine this is what i got.
100100001000001101010010001000010000001010010001010100010101100000011111 001010101010100001010101010010101010101001001101010101010001101000101000 110010100010101111001000111101001101000011101010100100110010010011110110 0001000110100100000100110100010110011001000x0010101101010101000011101010 101010100.

i think that X was the cause of the slight hesitation i was getting.

Tony there are only 10 types of people who understand binary, those that do, and those that dont.

This is a pretty big tree you are barking up Andrew.

I know this is a big endeavor, but I think there are enough people ont his list who have the knowledge to pull this together.

I guarantee, that if we create an open source editor, people will be all over it!

You also have access to a STer. If I did, I probably wouldn't be pushing for this.

We can do this...

This is long overdue...

I have made a fuel map editor for Excel. I wanted to include all of the various editable LH parameters, but it has proven more complicated that I first thought as many of the parameters are interdependent.

The main purpose for this is if you have used a Sharktuner and no longer have access to one, but need to tweak your fuel maps slightly, this will work for you. Getting the data into Excel is a bit tricky, but I have instruction on how to do this.

This file does contain macros. If your macro security is too high, it may not work. In Excel, go to Tools - Options - Select Security - then Macro Security. I suggest you set it at Medium.

USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK I take no responsibility for its reliability, how well it works, or if it happens to cause any damage to your car.

Here is the file:

Nice work !

I've been working on a similar spreasheet for use with Sharktuner logged data, but the spreadsheet I have been working on was focused on assisting with where to make the map adjustments with the map grids / tables.

Your spreadsheet is very cool to compare tuning revisions and like you say make simple changes without the need to hook up the ST.

Thanks again for putting in all the effort and sharing it !

Thanks guys. I'm going to work on the EZK portion next and one of these days I'll figure out all the other LH parameters.

Not to get off topic but have you considered just changing the ECU all together to say something like a Megasquirt? I converted a single cylinder carb motorcycle to EFI with a megasquirt. The tuning editor for megasquirt is great. You can tune while you drive or you could static tune then go for a ride. The megasquirt is a very affordable system. If I ever have a ECU failure I will definately consider a megasquirt.

Others have tried, but I like the idea of staying with the stock LH/EZK setup. We have a great resource for tuning now - and the stock setup is more than capable. But for those without a sharktuner, this helps to make those minor changes.

Does this mean I could start tweaking my stock maps?
Do the stock maps exist, in the format you've laid out?

Jim-
The excel file has the stock s4 maps loaded (at least the one the Shartuner spit out for me a long time ago - which is supposed to also be for the GT and GTS).

So yeah... I suppose you could tweak your fuel maps a bit, but I would not recommend doing so on a stock car. If you had a Supercharged or turbo setup and had sharktuned it but maybe hadd a lean spot or a rich spot in your fuel map, you might be able the tweak it with this.

I guess if you were runniung an FMU setup and needed to fine tune that, you could use this too.
