Default which rear spoiler/wing do you like best??

which rear spoiler/wing do you like best?

it can be OEM 928 or any other maker, or none at all.

it can be for OB, S4, GT or GTS...doesn't matter, just offer your opinions.

play nice.

I think the lack of a spoiler does make these things look like a pacer. Personally, I think Porsche got it right at all times. The OB spoiler looks good on the OB, and the later S4 spoiler looks good on the S4.

I have been trying to find a nice CF or light aluminum spoiler for the back of the 78 that is both nice, non-rice, and adjustable. I have not found what I am looking for.

I go back on forth on this in my mind all the time. There is something elegant about the clean look of a non spoiler car, especially on the 87+ body style. I never thought the car had the pacer attributes.

I run an Audi TT rear spoiler. I think it looks perfect. very subtle and is the exact width of the rear window glass.

I like the S4 wing on all years,

for a car that sees track time though it is hard to beat the look of an actual rear spoiler (ie one that provides real amounts of downforce)

I like the 'S' spoiler the best, nice finish to the rounded shape without going over the top with a wing. Personally I've always liked spoilers instead of wings, with few exceptions.

Owning two OBs, I prefer the 84S with it's spoiler over the other one, which has none.

My first 928 was a '78 that had the front spoiler with no rear spoiler. That was a good looking car, but obviously the spoilers didn't show up on the US cars for a few more years.

I would like someday to add a front splitter and CF 928 Specialists mega wing like the Chris Lockhart car.

This came with the OB, detached. Not planning to reinstall. Any ideas where it originated? Its fiberglas and fairly heavy. I don't like it, S-only spoiler is a better look in my view. I prefer one like the TT spoiler, above, especially against the color of the body as was shown above.

I definitely prefer the S4 wing, painted in body color. Look at its profile; has such an elegant shape methinks

Cheers,

Chris--

is that one of Carl's wings?

I can't tell from the camera angle, but it may have looked "better" if it was mounted further down on the hatch (you'd have to remove the "S" spoiler to do , I guess...)
