Default upgraded clutch hose

FINALLY there will be a upgraded braided stainless covered and insulated replacement hose for the flexible clutch hose....the one which bursts and the clutch pedal goes to the floor...happened to the old very brown 1980 a few years ago at the track. There is a limited run being made it required custom made metal fittings should sell for about $100 a bit less than the stock Porche insulated hose . Fits 1980-1995 models.

YES! Sometimes good things do come to those who wait.

Jim, Will this require a pre-order, or when you say limited run, does it mean you're just ordering a certain number up front and when they're done, they're done?

Nope this is the pressure hose that runs from near the front sway bar mount to the oil pan near the starter. When it bursts the clutch pedal goes to the floor and you are done shifting

They are being made in batches there is a minimum order size for the cutom made fittings so demand will determine how long the batch lasts and when we reorder...becomes a question of how many thousands of dollars you want tied up in inventory.....particularily in a market where many vendors of parts inventory next to nothing , sell a part and may not PAY for it for 30-60 days after they sold it and got paid for it !

Jim,

May want to rethink the fruitcake. I've heard that most of it is never consumed. Just stored and handed out to someone else the next year.

Fruit cake gets better with age....especially when soaked in dark rum clutch hoses however get cooked from the proximity to the exhaust ....they do NOT improve with age !
