Default Newbie first past to say hello.

I've been a lurker for some time now. I have always wanted a 928 5 spd and after having owned several Corvettes and having just finished building a Factory Five Racing Cobra replica (set up for autocrossing with 440 hp @ 2250 lbs), I am ready to take the 928 plunge and park it right next to the Cobra in the garage.

My brother weekend-races 911s and a friend has had two 928s (an '86 S 5spd, and an '88 S4 auto) so I am not completely unfamiliar. I have a real well-equipped garage and a love for cars.

Just wanted to sign on an introduce myself as I hunt down an '88 - '92 5 spd in the $20k range. Wish me luck and I'll be posting more along the way.

Mark

Good luck, although with 20 grand and patience, you should be able to get exactly what you are looking for.

Welcome, Biofuel! I'm fairly new here myself and it's great! Since you have a love for cars, it's good to know a 928 (when you find it) will have a good home....THANKS for coming out of the shadows!

How's it going Mark!

Good luck and Welcome!

If you've been lurking for a while you know that probably your best investment and most bang-for-the-buck will probably be a set of CDs from Jim Morehouse and a member ship here. Keep us posted on your search!

Thanks, guys. Yes, this forum has already been a tremendous help. I'm real excited about getting one, but I know I really need to take my time.
