Speaking of 928 history, I still have an archive of PorscheFans daily email digest from 98 to 03 that would be good to make available somehow if anyone's interested. I just clicked on one randomly, 3/16/1998, and see posts from Dave Roberts, Phil Tong, Lenard Laub, Gene O'Rourke, and Luis Ott.
Don, that would be great to have access to! I am happy to help, and can host it or get it into a format that someone else could host. PM sent.

And thanks Rob, for scanning and posting the Forum mag's! Those are great!

I paid for my second year subscription and only got 1 issue, still waiting for the other 3... Guess I'll have a long wait. It was a great idea, to bad it was not sustainable.

Mark, Thank you for sharing those wonderful issues. Also, a big thank you to Rob for all of that scanning tedium you endured in bringing them to us.

Very cool 928 history.

Ok, I just got some back issues from TonyAJ, along with some other amazing gems...thanks again Tony!!!!

I was blown away by how well the magazine was done, really, just great stuff.
My second thought was how much I wished it were still in print!
What a treasure to read. And even more enjoyable was the fact that the contributors were many of those that I know and still walk among us.
I bumped this thread because Rob (my hero, BTW) has links to the scans.

I am assuming that the mag was just too costly and time consuming to be sustainable...but man what a run. I don't know if Adam will tune in, but being a student of history I was curious.
I can tell you that I would pay just about any subscription cost for a dedicated 928 mag.

I think Pablo did a great job with his e-mag, but I still yearn for hard copy.

This is one point that Adam pushed at the start of the project. He insisted that it be a quality hard copy magazine. I was always pushing for pdf or other online format since everything back then was heading to the web.....in retrospect, quality hard copy magazines are hard to come by and online publishing these days just isn't the same.....

It was a fun run while it lasted

I scanned and OCR'ed each issue, they're linked below. I asked Adam's permission to do this so I hope everyone's ok with this. Page 2 of several issues has an e-mail list, if anyone on that list doesn't want their 10 year old e-mail address searchable by the Google, let me know and I'll redact it. Likewise for anyone who may have contributed material and doesn't want it online.

There is a _ton_ of great reading here, excellent tech and photos. My hat is off to the editorial staff and the great production values.

These are big pdf files, upwards of 20MB, they may be slow to load in the mornings.
