Here is a page with mostly pictures (and lots of them) of some sort of 928 gathering in Stuttgart. Aside from a ton of 928s you can also catch a glimpse of Anatol Lapine - a former GM designer (he worked on the first Corvettes, I think) of Russian ancestry, who created the 928.

Anatole Lapine is from one of the Baltic "states", Latvia, I think.

I was there and met him, with a load of the other engineers from the 928's development. Lapine was a really really nice guy, as were they all. A couple of US rennlisters were also there, they're pictured on that site. I'm the geezer with the elvis haircut on the '928 coming home' pic!

It was a lovely weekend all up, I'm going again in september to the 2003 meet at the nurburgring.
