Don't you hate it when they take crappy pictures on purpose? Look at the sixth one down. It looks like lots of curb-rash, but how can you be sure from that picture?

 

those are martin bishops wheels. he has 2 928s one of which is being (or has been) parted out. i've bought a number of things from him all reasonable all as described. don't think he's trying to mislead anyone.

 

Those are not S4 rims!! S4s are 7s and 8s, not 7s all the way around!!!!!

Those images are better than they look. They're actually very hi-res pictures being squeezed into a small space on the web page, wich messes up the quality on the page. Try saving the images to your computer and then view them. In netscape/mozilla you can right-click 'view image' to get the real deal.

 

That donor S4 is already a carcass.....
It would appear that the pics were taken from the white S4 that he gutted so I think that Martin is on-the-level, at least as far as he knows????
Doesn't actually indicate the widths of the rims anywhere so it is probably worth a email to MB to ask the question..........

Pretty confident those rims "did" come off the white S4
Martin is a poster here once in awhile. I'm sure he will update us if he knows we are posting on those rims.

 

Just to support Bernie’s statement I also know Martin B. and don’t believe he would deliberately try to screw you.

Hi everyone,

It looks as if Mark K is right. I posted pictures of the wheels and tires off the S4 I parted out a few months ago. It looks like I got hosed on the wheels somehow. It's possible that the previous owner had upgrades and dumped these on to sell the car.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Tim and others. I updated the listing on ebay.

I appreciate the vote of confidence from the group here. I did not intend to hose someone after I was intentionally / unintentionally hosed....

Sometimes you dont need to read it to know its true! plus , a picture says enough!!

some of these things we can see from a mile away.
Im sure it wasnt intentional, as the difference is very subtle. the tell tale lip , or deep dish is the give away on a S4 rim.
