5 speed GTS's in this condition with 40,000 miles are worth:

1993 $40,000

1994 $50,000

1995 $60,000

Deal with it.

Strange, Charlie Sheens GTS was for sale last year. Wonder why the new owner is selling?

What's the story with the strange bidding history on the Charlie Sheen GTS?

Nicole,
What do you mean by strange? Looks normal to me but maybe I am missing something.

Maybe it is seller's 96.4% feedback. I didn't read his history, but there might be something there.

Aren't they the same pictures the previous seller used too?

David, I do remember the car you mention. I don't remember the guys name but it did have an engine fire and was repaired. Wasn't he in the Philadelphia area?

Yes I remember when Charlie Sheens cars was on ebay, those are the exact same pictures used last year. I wonder if the seller never even sold it.

Its hard to say, from the information I have on this car it was on eBay listed by eBay user paulhermanmotorcars who is located in Buffalo, NY in August of 2003 when it had 52k miles. In late August I made a note about the car now being in Atlanta. I'm sure whoever last had it on eBay used the same pictures as this auction. http://www.928registry.org/1994-928GTS-0167.htm

Wonder how much wear and tear 4.5 years and ~20k miles has taken on the car?

This picture is from the 2003 auction:

The guy in Davis that owns the silver-blue 94 did get it from PA......a few years ago...when he almost sold his black-tan 5 speed 93 to Paul...... it does look like it was a very good repair job.... assuming the title is still clear..... I just love that color combo!! Polar Silver just doesn't look nearly as good in pictures as it does in person.....Charleys 93 GTS looks SWEET in person with black interior...the blue interior just makes the silver pop all that much more!!

Maybe I'm not all up-to-date on eBay Motors bid history, but all the IDs start with a number or letter, then **, then another number or letter. Is that a way to conceal the identity of those bidders, or are these shill bidders?

eBay made the change to conceal bidders ID's from other users who were contacting the bidder with bogus 2nd chance offers.

It looks like a very nice car. It doesn't appear that the hood insulation had to be replaced (unless it was still available then - that type is NLA as far as I know).

It could protect a seller from unwanted "extra" feedback. Chuck's reason is probably the more abused.

Okay I called the seller.....really nice guy who has owned 4 928's....... only selling this one because he just doesn't drive it enough....... Its also been serviced by CT automotive in Campbell (Kiborts home shop) so its been checked by some good 928 wrenches!!
