My Audi is about 500 hp. The core I'm running is 17x14x3. It's bigger than what I need for that power level.
The larger the more pressure drop

Depends on which dimension is larger. If the cross-section is larger, it would have less pressure drop.

The more volume from the turbo to the intake, the more air must be pumped in to raise the pressure. Once it is at operating pressure volume no longer matters. Basically a large volume before the intake equates to more lag.

The transmission broke during the "danish fastest car show" (dhb2007)

I talked to him afterwards, and he said "the tranny is broken, shouldn't have used slicks"

Cheers,
Bernhard

Is it possible for you to invite him to Rennlist to share his knowledge?

Its not THAT horrible. If I kill mine I guess I'll have to think of something, but I think the best bet will be to not try to conquer the drag strip. And I am installing a cooler.

Yes, I agree. Drag launches aren't even good for stock cars.

Larger IC = larger intake volume = lower charge air temps = higher boost (with correct AFM) = more fun!

Wrapped/coated exhaust port to turbo hot side = reduced spool times = quicker top end!

The SC'd engines really are the best route to full time performance, but a turbo will let you "grandma" the car around town and give you performance under pressure.

But we already knew this...

You can "grandma" around a supercharged car just the same.

What does it do in the ¼? My guess is around mid to low 13s.
