What a great idea.
Only issue I would see is any drips from the hose connecting the brake to the slave after removal.
Assuming your in the garage, why not connect the pressure bleeder to the slave nipple instead?

The brake bleeder to clutch bleeder eliminates that issue. Easier to add a bit of fluid lost in filling the connecting line than getting excess fluid out or cleaning up. I will try this method this weekend after replacing the upper release are ball socket

Are you talking at the slave by depressing the plunger slowly or at the master by pulling the internals out through the front?
