Here's a video using a different method to achieve the same result (reverse bleeding the clutch). Enjoy.

I use a contraption called "Easybleed" for this type of job. It uses air pressure from the tyre to puch up the brake fluid. No pumping required. On man job.

What a great idea.

Only issue I would see is any drips from the hose connecting the brake to the slave after removal.

Assuming your in the garage, why not connect the pressure bleeder to the slave nipple instead?

I have read that method here somewhere and heard it works well. Only down side is making sure the additional fluid does n ot overflow at reservoir.

The brake bleeder to clutch bleeder eliminates that issue. Easier to add a bit of fluid lost in filling the connecting line than getting excess fluid out or cleaning up. I will try this method this weekend after replacing the upper release are ball socket

Fixer, any issues with removing air from the clutch master? Or is it just me?

Its a cool idea, I think I will try it next time. But for me the best thing is to do the burp. Works the first time, every time. Takes 2 minutes.

Karl,

Are you talking at the slave by depressing the plunger slowly or at the master by pulling the internals out through the front?
